This Privacy Policy explains how Cam Grid ("we", "us"), operated by Erbacci LLC (Wyoming, United States), collects and uses information. Contact: info@erbacciltd.com.
Cam Grid shows the Ring cameras and doorbells of your Ring account on the screens you choose (a browser, a TV, a phone): recent snapshots in a grid, live view on demand, event history and clips. While Cam Grid is open on a screen, a doorbell press can switch that screen to the doorbell (the "takeover"); motion can do the same only for the cameras where you turn it on. It is a viewing convenience, not a security or life-safety system.
Email. We email you only sign-in codes and security notices about your account (for example when a new screen is paired with it). We never send marketing email.
We use the data solely to show your cameras on your screens and to run your account. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising, we do not use Ring data for marketing, and we use no facial recognition, no biometric processing and no AI/vision models. Each home's cameras are kept to your own Ring account: we never combine cameras of different Ring accounts. Processors: Amazon Web Services (hosting in us-east-1, email via Amazon SES, push via SNS), Resend (backup email delivery), Apple/Google/Amazon (push transport), and Ring (Amazon) (identity, events and media). Where a screen cannot play Ring's live stream directly (for example some TV and watch platforms), an optional relay in AWS us-east-1 may convert it on the fly; the relay is transient and never stores video or audio (it keeps only the few seconds in memory that playback needs). We disclose information only where required by valid legal process.
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Account & settings | Until you delete your account |
| Device list | Until the device is removed from Ring or the account is deleted |
| Snapshot images | 24 hours |
| Event clips | 1 hour after you play them |
| Event history | 30 days |
| Viewing activity log | 90 days |
| Live video and audio | Never stored (the optional relay included) |
| Paired screens | Until you remove the screen or delete the account (a removed screen stays in your list for 1 day, without its sign-in token) |
| Screen pairing codes | 10 minutes, single use |
| Removed devices | A marker kept for 30 days so a delayed Ring message cannot bring the device back |
| Diagnostic logs | 30 days |
| Database backups | Up to 35 days (point-in-time recovery). Backups cannot be edited, so a deleted record can remain in them until they expire; they are used only to recover from a failure |
| Record that an account was deleted | 2 years, with no personal data: a one-way hash of the account id, the date and how many items were deleted |
| Rate-limit counters (sign-in codes, screen pairing) | About 2 hours; they hold one-way hashes, never an address or an IP |
Delete your account and all associated data (including snapshots, clips, the event history, screens and the viewing log) any time from Settings → Delete account, or email info@erbacciltd.com. Deletion removes every live copy we hold at once; database backups cannot be edited and expire within 35 days. We email you to confirm the deletion. Removing Cam Grid from your Ring app revokes our access to your Ring account; deleting your Cam Grid account does not remove Cam Grid from your Ring account, which you do in the Ring app.
TLS in transit, encryption at rest with a dedicated key, HMAC verification on every Ring webhook, short-lived signed session tokens and least-privilege access. Your Ring access tokens and Ring's live-session addresses stay on our servers and are never sent to any screen or app; the Ring tokens are also sealed with a key of their own that only the services that call Ring can use. Cam Grid never crops or covers Ring's watermark on images and video (only your own zoom can move it out of view).
Not directed to children under 13. Operated from the United States; by using it you consent to processing in the US.
